“ This place would probably not be on your radar unless you live in the area. I met a friend here for supper on a Thursday night without reservations. The person who greeted me sat me at a table right away since the place wasn't that busy. The vibe seemed very homey. There were a few patrons sitting at the bar chatting up a storm... probably regulars. It wasn't long before my friend arrived and we ordered drinks. The menu quickly followed with some suggestions, and our order was placed. Not much to say, but the food was delicious. I had the lamb on the table d'hote, and my friend had the cod a la carte. Service was good, thorough. No desserts this time. Would I go back? Probably... if I'm in that area again. ”

“ We have lived in the island for 4 years and have dined here for the very first time this evening. They have exceeded our expectations through and through. Service was friendly and prompt. Their carbonara *CHEF KISS* (I unashamedly “cleaned” the plate , it was THAT good). Le mari also enjoyed the beef linguine a lot. We’re not a fan of the fries that came with the tartare de bœuf but their pasta was excellent. I appreciate the dual-lingual service rendered to us tonight. Beer is CAD 9/glass before tax. The fondant au chocolat was the perfect end to our date night. Already looking forward to our next visit. Hidden gem in Ile-des-Soeurs. P/S: The last call for dinner is 21:30h but the bar is open till 03:00h every Friday. ”

“ I’m fortunate enough to have been to some restaurants in different places... and I’ve got to tell you La Socca is one of my favorite places in the whole world. It’s full of light, music, people wanting good food and some dancing - Serge creates each and every night something memorable for everyone. This night in particular, on the 19th anniversary of La Socca - I had as entree the soup, my sister the salad and I chose the Pave de Saumon, sauce au poivre rose (servi au legumes de saison): I loved it. The staff is always amazing. Super kind and fast. We love the place and go every chance we get :) ”
